Not necessarily. In the initial stages of your project, we can “flag” any pieces you wish to keep, and I will ensure they are seamlessly incorporated into the final design.

In creating a design with the level of detail that meets the best standards (mine and yours), there are many factors at play. The timeline can be determined once we discuss the project, as your individual needs will vary widely.

I can recommend contractors who I am confident in, but if you have one in mind and would prefer to work with them you are welcome to. In either case you will sign the agreement with the contractor directly and I will oversee the process to ensure construction follows the design intent.

You are welcome to make revisions which we can implement at the Design Development stage. However, because so many components go into the design, changing one element may result in many more changes to maintain cohesion. Once we move past the Design Development stage, any changes may result in extra costs.

I’m of the philosophy that there are no problems which can’t be solved. I pride myself on leading smooth projects, but in case any unexpected challenges come up I support my clients all the way.

Your design package will come with highly detailed design and construction drawings, which will guide the contractors on successful completion of the project. During the construction phase I conduct several site visits to ensure the design is implemented correctly, and I am available any time for clarifications.
